With summer around the corner, the updated Mercedes-Benz E-Class is all set for its launch in Europe. With a test run in Las Vegas this car has everyone hyped up. One of the first versions that will be unveiled are the sedan and wagon variants, which will be soon followed by the coupe versions.
The model will remain as the range-topping version of the E-Class, but minor tweaking is be expected so that it can go beyond 603 horsepower. The car will also feature a hybrid plug-in, which is a first of its kind in the US market. The E350 will be reconfigured and carry a 2.0 liter turbo, whereas the V6 engine in the E450 will be replaced by a 3.0 inline six-cylinder engine.
On the outside the new E-Class features a decent facelift which allow for new headlamps, bumpers, and taillights as well. Is not about just looks and performance with this car as it will also feature the MBUX infotainment system operated by voice commands, as well as hand gesture. A driver assistance systems and a new multi-function steering wheel.
