Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series will be rejoining the AMG line sometime in July and until then the car was supposed to be under the covers. However, just this past Thursday, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series made quite an early debut.
The car was seen in a YouTube video featuring Tim Burton, also known as Shmee150.
Based on the video we can tell you that the car features a white body kit, with a flared front and rear fenders to house a wider track or wider tire. Fenders on the front of the car have ducts that appear similar to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Just like the name, the overall look of the car is aggressive as well. It features a large splitter and dive planes to push air in an efficient way. What’s under the hood, remains under covers for now, but hints from what the previous CEO Tobas Morers said in 2018 lead us to believe that the overall output of the car will be more than 700 horsepower, and will be powered by a new V8 engine. Sounds like it’s time for a little competition for the McLaren 7205 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Based on the details, it’s safe to say that the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series should be able to go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds, and a top speed of over 200 mph can be expected.
