Process during and after a remap/Tuning:

IS REMAPPING SAVE FOR MY VEHICLE?
Our custom made files enhances and optimises the power of the engine within safe limits, not beyond. Extra power will also result in fewer gear changes. Manufacturers have to build engines and its components within tolerance to manage the effect of wear and tear, production variations and to ensure their warranty claims are kept to a minimum during what’s usually a 3 year period.

Most race or competition engines are pushed to every last BHP, and thus they are more likely to fail in a short period of time. Whilst normal car/van/lorry engines are deliberately de-tuned to minimise failures and improve reliability. Each individual engine is different in how much it can be pushed during a remap, but understanding and correctly installing the right parameters should never get close to the limits of component failure. In short we find a happy medium between performance and reliability.
