We all know that Mercedes-Benz is committed to launching a minimum of 10 electric by the end of 2022. The first of the fleet has been revealed as the EQS small SUV.
Based on the information made available it can be stated that the others in the pipeline include the EQA and EQB compact SUVs. The all new EQS appear to be a larger electric sedan and will sit alongside the latest S-Class Mercedes that’s due for launch in 2021.
The prototypes that were recently launched shows that the EQS has a liftback sedan appeal that’s quite similar to the Tesla Models S. Inside the EQS, is a large, portrait-style infotainment screen that resembles the ones equipped in the new S-Class which was revealed last month.
The car also features advanced voice activation, a head-up display with AR graphics and a huge cluster of digital instruments presented through 3D graphics. Keeping in mind that fact the with rapid advancements in battery technology a ton of great features are expected, but Mercedes-Benz has made the decision to stay silent on specs of its future cars.
Despite that, it has been mentioned that the EQS will come in several grades including one that has a range of 435 miles. Rumors regarding the performance of the EQS say that the car is comparable to the S63 and even the ultra-luxury Maybach version.
